To avoid issues with AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT on macOS 10.15 security & privacy settings should be granted. AutoCAD for Mac may be unstable and crash randomly, especially during activation, or when opening or saving files. With macOS 10.15 Catalina, a new permissions dialog is displayed whenever AutoCAD needs access to folders to write some temp files such as logs, caches, backups, etc. Denying the access permission may cause unknown issues and instability.
